Sad Sick people

Please take some time out of your busy day to read this...pass this on to others...its sad and horrible!

Westboro Baptist Church is going to picket President Gordon. B Hinckley's funeral on Saturday here in Salt Lake!
Are we not to judge people? Isn't that the Lords job?
Im not kidding you...Im in tears right now that these people think they are doing the right thing. Its sick and sad that they are doing this!
For those of you who don't know Gordon B. Hinckley, he was the longest living Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kinda like the Pope but not...
Here is somethings people have said concerning the Prophet :
Gordon B. Hinckley, the venerable and beloved president and world leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was described by veteran 60 Minutes television journalist Mike Wallace as "a genuinely remarkable man ... (a) warm and thoughtful and decent and optimistic leader."
Despite his age, President Hinckley was blessed with a keen mind, good health and incredible energy as he led the global expansion of a faith that, according to U.S. News & World Report, "has sustained the most rapid growth rate of any new faith group in American history."
President Hinckley was by far the most traveled of the 15 prophets who have led the Church since the restoration in the early 19th century, logging more than 250,000 miles over the years in meeting with, instructing and inspiring Latter-day Saints in dozens of nations. In fact, at the age of 95, he traveled nearly 25,000 miles on a seven-nation, nine-day tour to Vladivostok, Russia; Taipei, Taiwan; Hong Kong, China; Delhi, India; Nairobi, Kenya; Aba, Nigeria; and Seoul, South Korea.

He was the driving force for the erection of dozens of Latter-day Saint temples in the past few years, bringing the number to over a 120 around the world. Temples, which are special buildings reserved for the highest sacraments of the faith, are significantly different from the thousands of chapels or meetinghouses used for Sunday worship.

These people are going to be there picketing a funeral. They are seriously messed up....even if you don't believe in the mormon faith you don't do this to people. They have been at funerals for our passed away military men and women. They picket anything with the Pope's appearance calling the catholic church a Whorehouse of pedophiles....
Sad sick people...
here is the flyer for the picket that will happen this saturday..

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!
That seriously gives me a rush of crazy mixed emotions. I feel sad, angry, pity, rage and much more! Think about it people, this is a funeral. People are there mourning a death. Apparently these "followers of God" forgot about the scripture that tells us to mourn with those who mourn.
I looked at the flier and it is so ridiculous!!! It says at the bottom that God hates fags, and fag enablers and therefor God hates Mormons.... First of all the LDS church does not condone homosexuality, we consider it a sin. Second of all, God would never form a group of people that cast judgment and scorn towards any of his children no matter the sin they have committed. These people must have also forgotten the story of the adulteress women!
I honestly can not believe that there are people in this world that are so blind and ignorant that they would truly believe they are doing a righteous thing by picketing any funeral, especially one of such an amazing person!

I agree, it's just sad. I feel that way about a lot of people who don't have the gospel. (The TRUE gospel.) Because they just don't know, and it's sad that they would sink so low as to protest someone as wonderful as President Hinkley. It makes it so obvious to me they are grasping at straws to find a way to justify their faith... because it just doesn't make sense.
